Case Study: NIKEiD by Frisco ISD
For the first time ever, NIKEiD offered high school athletes the opportunity to create a football cleat with individualized school logos and colors. NIKE at The Star is the exclusive destination to access this service, changing the football gear-up landscape for Frisco’s 10 high schools.
Tara Wilson Agency brought the customization journey to life through a unique experience for Frisco’s football athletes. Individual teams were invited to Nike at The Star for NIKE iD design sessions, complete with custom team name designs by local Dallas art collective, the Sour Grapes crew. Players voted on a final design featuring team mottos and their school colors.
Each team received a surprise visit from Nike at their school to unveil the final product - a one-of-a-kind, team-designed cleat.
500+ players were involved in the creation of their teams’ unique cleats, kicking off their season in game-changing way.
